Time for a new haircut!

Obviously as a female, the first thing you ask your haematologist after hearing that you have to go undergo chemotherapy is “will I lose my hair?” Although in some instances and with some treatments, some people are lucky and their hair won’t fall out. Unfortunately, I am not as lucky, and as my chemotherapy is pretty intense, I will start losing my hair probably after first or second treatment. THUS, I decided to cut my long hair much shorter to adjust to becoming an “egg.”

I assume people have noticed that my hair is pretty long (I have grown it for past 4 years!). Here are some pictures to show the “old” and “new” me. Assumably as my new haircut won’t be lasting very long either (and after that I will look like a Gollum) … I will be going to shop for a wig later this week(end)! Wuhuuu, time for some crazy hair styles/colours?

xoxo
